The 7th Annual Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce President’s Excellence Awards event was held November 7th at the Delta Prince Edward.
President Keith Lambe welcomed over 400 attendees, stating, “This gala celebration of entrepreneurship and business excellence recognizes extraordinary achievements made by members of our organization and celebrates those who have met standards of excellence on many levels in their business and in their industry”.

A special recognition award was presented to Hyndman & Company Ltd., in celebration of their 140th anniversary and recognizing their company as a charter member of the GCACC since 1887.
Reminiscent of the passage of time, President Keith Lambe stated in his remarks, “Who would have thought 125 years ago that a permanent bridge would replace ice boats, that micro-brewery products would compete with rum from the Caribbean, or that a sector called bio science would even exist?”
This being the 125th Anniversary of the GCACC, the Chamber provided medallions to their guests in celebration of the occasion, a memento of the contribution the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce has made to the growth and prosperity of its membership, their businesses and the economy overall.
